Abstract
Background and Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of somatosensory input on function for hemiplegic patient. Subjects and Methods: The subject of this study was a patient with stroke who has been treated in NHIC Ilsan Hospital. Evaluation tool were used Timed Up and Go test and Fugl Meyer test. For the four weeks the subject was treated 60 minutes per session, three times per week for a month. Results: The TUG was decreased from 88.6 second to 65.2 second, and the Fugl-Meyer score was improved from 9 to 12. Conclusions: The result of this study showed that somatosensory input would be affected the function of hemiplegia.
