Can the trunk and head control on the respiratory and articulatory training program improve articulation function for the children with cerebral palsy? 2. Can the trunk and head control on the respiratory and articulatory training program increase maximum phonation time(MPT) when the children with cerebral palsy produce vowel? 3. Can the trunk and head control on the respiratory and articulatory training program improve the correctly pronounce vowel for the children with cerebral palsy? In order to perform this research, four children participated as test subjects. Two children were athetoid type and the other were spastic type. This program was consisted of two programs. One is the respiratory and articulatory training program and the other is the trunk and head control program. During this study, each subject had tests on pre-therapy(3 sessions over one week period), therapy and post-therapy. Each session was 40 minutes and the total of 30 sessions were given at a rate of treatment program. The findings of this research project were as follows: First, the trunk and head control on the respiratory and articulatory training program improved articulation function for the children with cerebral palsy. Second, the trunk and head control on the respiratory and articulatory training program increase maximum phonation time(MPT) when the children with cerebral palsy produced vowel. Third, the trunk and head control on the respiratory and articulatory training program improve the correctly pronounce vowel for the children with cerebral palsy.
